New Features for Omatic Cloud: April 2026

Omatic kicked off 2026 with a strong list of product updates designed to help nonprofits unify data across systems. In past months we’ve launched a new Shopify connector, updated Matching and Routing features, plus custom code transformations for more flexibility than ever. Here’s a look at the key releases for April.
Duplicate constituent records are one of the most persistent challenges in nonprofit data management. Omatic Cloud’s latest update to its Raiser’s Edge NXT integration introduces two new constituent matching scenarios: Phone, along with Name and Phone.

Previously, matching relied heavily on name and email combinations. But what happens when a constituent changes their name after marriage, or updates their email address? In many cases, a supporter’s phone number is the most reliable identifier, and now Omatic Cloud can use it. These new scenarios reduce missed matches and keep duplicate records from creeping into your database, resulting in cleaner constituent data with less manual review.
Events are one of the most powerful ways nonprofits engage with supporters but getting that event data into your CRM has historically required manual effort. The new Eventbrite connector changes that by making it easy to access event data and use it!
With this new connector, registrations, attendance, and ticket data automatically sync into Raiser’s Edge NXT, Salesforce, or Virtuous. Ticket purchases, refunds, and transactions are captured with consistent field mapping, so your reporting stays accurate. Most importantly, the connector lets you turn event attendance into segmentation and follow-up data while the momentum from an event is still high, rather than waiting for a manual data entry process to catch up.
The Eventbrite Early Adopter Program is now open for organizations seeking to get more from their Eventbrite data.
For organizations using Kindsight ascend as their fundraising platform, reconciling gift data with the general ledger has often meant spreadsheets, manual journal entries, and time-consuming of back-and-forth between advancement and finance teams to make sure totals add up. The new Post-to-GL integration for Kindsight ascend speeds up this process.
The integration maps, transforms, and routes all your transactional data (including gift, pledge, and payment info) from ascend into your accounting system automatically. It also catches fund designation and coding errors before they reach the general ledger. By keeping advancement and finance working from the same numbers, organizations can expect faster month-end closes. More importantly, they can maintain audit readiness and work from data they can trust. That means smoother audits, enhanced compliance, and accurate reporting.
Many nonprofits use the Batch field in Virtuous to group gifts that share common characteristics (like payment method and date) to indicate they belong to the same bank deposit. Until now, when using Omatic Cloud’s Post to GL, organizations could only filter gifts by date range, which didn’t always map cleanly to the needs of finance teams.
With this new feature, Omatic Cloud now allows you to filter by batch value, isolating exactly the gifts within a specific batch so you can post precisely what you need to your general ledger. This update reflects a core principle at Omatic: your tools should adapt to your processes, not the other way around. This update reflects a core principle at Omatic: your tools should adapt to your processes, not the other way around. By aligning the Post-to-GL workflow with how finance teams manage deposits, this feature makes it easier to track data and trust what’s hitting your general ledger.
