New Features for Omatic Cloud: October 2026

Last month we rolled out a round of Omatic Cloud updates, and we’re not slowing down in October 2026. This month’s releases are about two things: getting more of your Raiser’s Edge NXT data into Omatic Cloud with more flexibility and giving you a clear view of every connector you have.

Read on for the latest features to hit Omatic Cloud.

[Coming Soon] Expanded support for prospect fields in Raiser’s Edge NXT

System: Raiser’s Edge NXT

Keep capacity details current in Raiser’s Edge NXT.

Major gift cultivation requires context. Before a gift officer reaches out to a donor, they need to know where the relationship stands and what the research says about capacity. When that context disappears from a mass data update, then gift officers start tracking this vital information in other places, or not at all.

Omatic Cloud’s Raiser’s Edge NXT connector already supported Opportunity and Rating. It now supports three more prospect areas: Prospect Classification, Prospect Status, and Prospect Financial Information. You can create or update each one for a constituent as part of your regular imports, and it shows up in Raiser’s Edge NXT right where your gift officers already look.

With this enhancement, you can:

  • Keep donor tiers accurate as relationships develop: Update Prospect Classification during a data load, so the tiers that drive your outreach reflect where each relationship stands today.
  • Keep donor management pipeline moving: Create or update Prospect Status alongside the rest of a constituent’s record.
  • Store capacity research next to the prospect record: Add or update Prospect Financial Information, so research findings sit beside the Classification and Status they inform.
  • Move from the ImportOmatic plugin to Omatic Cloud with your prospect process intact. All three areas work in Omatic Cloud right alongside the Opportunity and Rating mappings you’ve already built, which keep working exactly as they do today.

Single-row layout for queries

System: Raiser’s Edge NXT

Pull each constituent once, no matter how many email addresses or codes they carry.

A single donor can carry a lot of important information in Raiser’s Edge NXT, including a personal email, a work email, an old college email, plus constituent codes to indicate whether they are a donor, parent, or volunteer. That depth of detail in a CRM is what all database administrators strive for. But in the standard query layout, every value in a repeatable field gets its own row. A donor with three email addresses comes through as three rows, and your team matches the same person three times. The best-documented donors end up taking the longest to process.

Omatic Cloud now supports Blackbaud’s Single Row Query (Export) layout. Choose the single-row layout, select a single-row query your team built in RE NXT, and every constituent comes through as one row with the values that query is set up to return.

With this enhancement, you can:

  • Match each constituent once: One row per person means one match per person, not one per email address.
  • Keep using the queries you rely on today: Single-row support sits alongside your existing multi-row queries. Everything already configured keeps working, so you can adopt single-row queries at your own pace.
  • Bring more of RE NXT into Omatic Cloud: Query support is no longer limited to Constituent and Gift. Event, Membership, Appeal, Fund, Campaign, and nearly every other query type Blackbaud offers through its SKY API are now available. Giving Score queries are the one exception.
  • Stay ready as Blackbaud rolls the feature out more widely: Single Row Query is currently available to organizations in Blackbaud’s early access program, and Omatic Cloud suppots it today. When Blackbaud makes it generally available, there’s no further action to take.

Connector Library

System: All

See every Omatic Cloud connector you have in one place.

If you’re like most organizations, you’ve added Omatic Cloud connectors over time. One for online giving, one for event registrations, another when your advancement team picked up a new peer-to-peer platform. A few years and a few staff changes later, the answer to “what’s actually connected to our CRM right now?” might live in someone’s head or a contract agreement that only a CFO sees.

The new Connector Library is a single page in Omatic Cloud that shows every connector Omatic offers, organized into three sections: connectors that are on and set up, connectors that are in your plan but not yet set up, and connectors available to add.

With the Connector Library, you are able to:

  • See what’s running at a glance: Active connectors sit at the top, so anyone on your team can confirm what’s connected without digging through settings or asking around.
  • Explore everything Omatic connects to: Every connector is listed, including new ones as they’re released. Learn More shows what each one does and which systems it connects.
  • Ask about a new connector right from the page: The Request link opens a short form that puts you in touch with the Omatic team.

Your current connectors keep running exactly as before. The Connector Library is a new way to see your connectors and which connectors you might want to add.
