What The Position Entails

Omatic is seizing an immense growth opportunity in the non-profit technology space, and it is committed to bringing on board a Collections Analyst to support this effort. The Collections Analyst will provide support to the Accounting Team by processing receivables, accounting for all payments and ensuring they are posted properly, and reaching out to customers to collect payment for overdue bills, among other tasks. He or she will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and focused on creating an excellent experience for both internal and external customers. To succeed in this position, the Collections Analyst will be both an independent contributor and a team player, and will have a passion for serving the non-profit industry

What You Will Be Doing

  • Facilitate payment of client invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients via phone
  • Generate reports detailing accounts receivable status
  • Verify discrepancies and resolve client billing issues
  • Maintain billing contact information and subscriptions
  • Update and maintain clients’ software provisioning and access
  • Work with Customer Success on escalated billing and contract issues
  • Spearhead electronic payment adoption by all clients
  • Review contract requests from Sales and Partners and approve or facilitate approval
  • Provide or facilitate renewal contracts as requested by clients
  • Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
  • Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivable data
  • Prepare invoices, credit memos and bank deposits
  • Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are properly posted
  • Manage credit card processing activities by generating invoices, posting payments and reconciling payouts

What You Will Bring to Omatic

  • Integrity and dependability
  • Experience as a collections analyst, accounts receivable manager or accountant
  • Understanding of basic accounting principles and GAAP
  • Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
  • Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
  • Hands-on experience in operating spreadsheets and accounting software
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Experience with Intacct, Salesforce or Concur is a plus
  • Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
  • Proven ability to prioritize and focus on the most impactful task at any given time
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Bachelor’s degree required
